Alexei Petrov is the Managing Partner of LPB Capital, the investment banking arm of LPB Bank. He oversees all aspects of commercial and investment banking activities.
Previously, he served as Managing Partner at Da Vinci Capital/ITI Capital, responsible for investors, portfolio formation, team management, and private equity/project financing.
Before that, Alexei was the CEO of Fleming Family and Partners Real Estate, overseeing strategic development and a range of products in private equity, real estate, and asset management.
He also held the position of Managing Director and Head of the Representative Office of AIG Financial Services, responsible for financial services, private equity, leasing, and consumer finance in the Former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
Earlier in his career, Alexei worked as a Senior Vice President and Investment Director at Pioneer Investments, focusing on deal negotiation and post-closing development.
He began his career in the Oil & Gas investment-banking group of Merrill Lynch, concluding major international investment banking, corporate finance, and privatization transactions.
Alexei holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a degree in economics Magna Cum Laude from The New York University Stern School of Business. He also has a CIFE degree in Islamic Finance from the Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance.
With over 30 years of experience, Alexei has been involved in more than 200 significant transactions, totaling over $3 billion. He has served on the boards of large companies, contributing his expertise in corporate governance.
